The use of standard tools is a good way to achieve reliable results.
However, all results are only as good as the tools available. Consequently,
WINDnovation´s engineers strive to extend or improve the standard software
by means of "wrapper programs" or even develop completely new software for
highly specialized purposes. These new tools provide for more detailed analyses,
faster optimization loops, more efficient internal workflow and lower error
rates. This is achieved by a high rate of integration of all different tools
which are used over the full blade design process. The freedom to follow
and implement one's own ideas gives space for extraordinary, creative and
individual solutions, not restraining the expert to a possibly inferior
solution. Therefore, WINDnovation's engineers use and continue to further
develop their own set of design software in coexistence with industry
standard tools, thus accomplishing higher flexibility and reliability for
optimum results.
