Tobias Rolf studied aerospace engineering with a focus in aerodynamics
and aircraft design at the University of Stuttgart and graduated in
2008. For his diploma thesis he moved to Hamburg to work with AIRBUS,
investigating the influence of aircraft weight characteristics on the
loads calculation process. He then started working at EDAG GmbH in
load calculation of wind turbines. He was also involved in
type certification of wind turbines and in the calculation of aircraft structures.
He joined the aerodynamics and loads team at WINDnovation in July 2011.
